The Yoga Practice
Vajra's great love of Yoga is the driving force behind her
practice and teaching. Drawing from the deep roots of classical
yoga, her sessions, whether in a private or group format, are a
blend of Asana, Pranayama, Physical Adjustments and Meditation.
As part of your program to better health, she performs a
diagnostic evaluation to ascertain the necessity, the ensuing
direction and finally the development of your healing session(s).
Vajra began her practice of the philosophy of Yoga at the age of
six and has been passionately teaching since 1999.
She has trained extensively with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India
and has developed and directed two Yoga programs in Mill Valley,
CA. Her teaching style reflects her studies of the Goddess,
Buddhism and
over 17 years of experience in physical therapy and
bodywork.
At the very heart of Vajra's practice and teaching are
the principles of kindness and respect. This foundation gives
Vajra a warm and non-judgmental approach that allows individuals
to feel empowered by their uniqueness and specific needs.
